KASHRUT DEPARTMENT UNDER THE CHIEF RABBINATE OF RUSSIA
The system of voluntary certification of Kosher Russia food products "KOSHER CERTIFICATION-KR" operates with the support of the Chief Rabbinate of Russia under the leadership of the Chief Rabbi of Russia Berl Lazar.The only officially registered organization in the Russian Federation providing services for kosher certification of food products in accordance with international standards.
Certificate of entry into the Unified State Register of Legal Entities dated 05.12 2003, main state registration number 1037715055850.
The main purpose of the Kashrut Department under the Chief Rabbinate of Russia: Assistance in increasing the competitive ability of Russian producers in the global and domestic food market.
The certification body performs the following functions:
- Organizes and conducts product certification;
- Issues certificates of conformity and permits for the use of the conformity mark;
- Conducts consulting services.
The activities are carried out in accordance with the following basic principles:
- Voluntary;
- Inadmissibility of coercion to carry out voluntary certification;
- The objectivity and reliability of the certification results, which is ensured by the participation in the certification work of experts appointed by the Autonomous Non-profit Organization "Kosher-R";
- Independence of certification participants from manufacturers and users of products and other interested parties;
- Openness of information about the results of the system's activities for federal executive authorities and public organizations;
- Protection of the property interests of applicants, compliance with commercial secrets in relation to information obtained during the implementation of kosher certification;
- There is no discrimination against applicants for kosher certification.
