How to convey in words the feelings of a person who lost in one terrible moment his mother and daughter, whom he loved so dearly and strongly...
This project was founded in memory of the most loved people who tragically died in a terrible fire at night from 12 to 13 March 2020 (17 Adar 5780) in Samara. The house where we lived as a large friendly Jewish family caught fire due to faulty electrical wiring.

Lyudmila
Our daughter Kaganova Ann (Hana-Leia) was sleeping in her room at that time, in a burning house, it was not possible to save her. She was a happy, healthy, intelligent and cheerful girl. Just a few days before this tragedy, she celebrated her 14th birthday. Trying to save her, my mother Lyudmila Kaganova also died suffocating in the smoke. What happened was an irreparable loss not only for us, but also for many of our relatives, friends and acquaintances around the world, because my mother and daughter were beautiful people with a kind and sympathetic soul, everyone loved them very much.
Shocked by this tragedy, in memory of our relatives and to uplift their souls, we decided to do something meaningful for the Jews living in Russia. The idea of this project appeared «by itself», because kosher food has become an important part of life for our family for many years. Moreover, the entire history of our nation confirms that the observance of traditions, and especially kosher food, is extremely important for the spiritual development and well-being of every Jew.
As our sages say ‒ what we eat is what we are.
As our sages say ‒ what we eat is what we are.
The project which we decided to name in consonance with the initials of the deceased ‒ «כשר לך»
(«Kosher Lekha»), combines three aspects:
«Delivery»
From personal experience, we know very well how often it is not easy to find a particular kosher product or a traditional attribute of Jewish life for a Jew located in the Russian hinterland.
«Kosher products and items of Jewish tradition»
Our daughter Ann (Hana-Leia) was brought up in the spirit of Jewish traditions from an early age, was the heart and soul of events, seminars of the community and the youth club "EnerJew", she had a lot of friends.
«To every home»
My mother always filled our home with warmth and kindness, uniting the whole family around her. She loved to cook and even created her own cookbook of Jewish recipes, some of which we publish on this resource.
With this project we want to make kosher products and items of the Jewish tradition as accessible as possible to everyone who is interested in them. To do this, we will develop and maintain a resource in the form of a website and mobile app, that will collect available products of Russian, Israeli and European production, the kosher quality of which is confirmed by the certificate of the chief Rabbinate of Russia, as well as those that are kosher by definition. The user of our resource will not have to search for a long time and choose what is kosher and what is not, since all available kosher products are now collected together.
In addition to kosher food, you can use our resource to order items that allow you to observe Jewish traditions – Shabbat and Havdalah candles, kippah, mezuzah, tallit, traditional Jewish books, and much more. We will try to make delivery as completely free as possible, so that, regardless of the place of residence, users of our resource will be able to buy the products at no more than the average price in the store of the Jewish community.

It is not easy for our family to master such a global project, so we will be happy to receive any charitable support:
- financial and organizational (this will help to reduce the cost of the offered kosher products and items of the Jewish tradition as much as possible and ensure free delivery to every corner where the Jews live);
- help from volunteers, who will support us with distributing and delivering food and holiday packages to community members in their cities.
